If you’re new here, every week I share what I’m cooking for my family the following week… they all include seasonal ingredients. If you missed the first post, you can catch up HERE.

We’ve had a couple of cooler mornings this week in Tennessee, and now I’m fully leaning into a fall mood (even if it’s still technically summer). Next week is looking a little busier for us, so I kept the plan simple with meals a bit on the quicker side: chicken chili, turkey taco bowls, and enchiladas. Maybe one day when my garden can actually feed our whole family (that’s the goal, but I still have a lot to learn) I won’t plan as ahead as I do, but for now it’s helped me stay on track with nourishing, home-cooked meals full of protein and fiber. For Labor Day, we might end up at a friend’s BBQ, so I’ll just use one of the dinners for a weekend night instead so ingredients are all used.

I’ve also noticed that when I meal plan like this, I end up spending less, mostly because I’m not buying random “maybe I’ll make this” ingredients and then realizing later I didn’t… which means way less produce going to waste.

The full grocery list is at the bottom, organized by category so shopping feels easy and you can get in and out without overthinking. If you have any requests for meals, let me know in the comments!
