Mon-Fri Seasonal Recipes + Grocery Shopping List #12
This week’s dinners focus on simple, nourishing meals built around quality red meat and seasonal fruit. I shared more about why I’m increasing my red meat and pairing it with fruit in a recent post, so if you haven’t read that yet, it’s worth starting there for context.
These recipes follow that same approach: ingredients that support energy, hormones, and overall health. They’re gluten-free, and easy enough for weeknights. We rely on the leftovers for lunch the next day too, that’s why you’ll notice the meal size is for 6 people (except the salmon dish feeds 4, I usually skip reheating salmon the next day since it tends to dry out, so on that day we’ll make a protein smoothie instead… something quick but still nutrient-dense) My kid’s favorite meal from last week was the beef stroganoff, and they added a ton of parmesan cheese on top. As always, the shopping list organized by type is at the bottom of the post.
I’m also happy that pomegranates are in-season again! The kids love eating them straight out of the bowl, and they add the prettiest pop of color on Friday’s meatballs.
