Things I'm Loving...
Anthony and I are heading to a farm dinner hosted at the same place where I get my flowers each week at the farmer’s market. The spot we buy our meat from is catering and it’s to celebrate the summer solstice, so it should be a really beautiful night. It’ll also be our first night out together since we moved, so we’re both really looking forward to it!
FASHION
I realized I don’t have an airy summer dress, so was looking online for ones that could also look cute with a belt and jacket during fall, whenever I buy something I try to think about how I can wear it multiple ways. These dresses all caught my eye:
striped midi dress | striped sundress | yellow halter dress | bubble hem tank dress | v-neck maxi dress | high neck dress | short sleeve bubble hem dress | crochet maxi dress | black and white contrast dress
BEAUTY
RMS is one of those brands that doesn’t get enough credit, the products are clean and genuinely so good. I’ve been using their tinted SPF moisturizer lately and love it... it gives really nice coverage without feeling heavy.
I wasn’t into mouth tape at all until I tried these ones. They have a tiny opening so I can still sip water or talk if I need to after putting it on (the kind with no opening freak me out a bit). Nose breathing at night is supposed to help with deeper sleep, and I actually notice the difference on my Oura ring when I use them.
Also, how CHIC is this Dior lip butter? Just got it and I’m obsessed.
The Divi root cover-up is so satisfying to apply, it has a sponge tip that is fun to use lol. I try to stretch the time between hair appointments, but the grey hairs along my part definitely show... especially with a slicked look... so this has been really helpful.
The rest are a few new products I’ve picked up recently and love!
mouth tape refill | mouth tape with case | skin tint | dior lip butter | LED hair brush | mascara | root touch up | lip/blush balm | eye cream | hair glaze
HOME/KITCHEN
We went to this cute European-style bakery the other day and they had these plates that looked like ceramic but were actually steel-coated enamelware. I googled the brand after because we’ve already broken enough plates thanks to Elliott in the kitchen (he can reach the sink from the breakfast nook and he’s really quick!) so I figured these would be perfect. They won’t break but still look super classy, so I ordered a set.
I’ve also been loving this workout mat. It folds up nicely and stacks up a bit so I can use it for tricep dips too.
Our interior designer mentioned how good the Zara Home products are. I’d never really taken the time to look… but when I started browsing and ordered a few pieces. So cute for summer entertaining!
And this is the garden book I picked up recently that I’ve been flipping through nonstop. It’s really helpful and makes starting a garden feel way less overwhelming... even if you don’t have a ton of space.
stackable mat | cup | dining collection | serving dish & tablecloth | dessert plate | kitchen garden revival | tulip flatware | glass fruit straws | contrast border tablecloth
KIDS
The Honest wipes are too good, I get the big box and love not having to worry about running out. The kids are really into these snack bars…I usually give them the salted caramel or cacao ones, and I always have a few stashed in my bag. The mocha one is my favorite (it has a little coffee extract and tastes so good plus all clean ingredients). I grabbed a few other things for them too that we’ve been loving lately!
finger toothbrush | wipes | scalloped basket | protein bar | birdie skittles toy | magic water coloring cards | animal photo holder | portable picnic table
This week on the podcast, it’s me and Jadyn talking about college, transitioning into adulthood and random questions I asked her. Listen to it HERE.
