Things I'm Loving...
I’m planning a small birthday party for Poppy, thinking a splash party in our backyard with cute inflatables for the kids. Elliott’s birthday is in November, so I’ll probably go more fall theme for his- and figured I can really lean into the summer heat for hers.
I’m also thinking of sharing my weekly recipe and shopping list here… simple, seasonal dishes that use whatever’s fresh at the farmer’s market. Would you be into that? Let me know in the comments!
MESH BALLET FLATS:
I love flats and for summer have been all about mesh ballet flats, they’re great because they’re still airy like sandals but I feel more pulled together in them. Here are my favorites. For a splurge, I’m currently obsessed with the Alaïa burgundy ones, would be so chic for fall too!
natural fiber ballet flats | black mesh mary jane flats | red fishnet mary hane flats | burgundy patent leather-trimmed mesh ballet flat | crystal mesh ballet flats | mesh balletic flats | mesh slingback ballet flats
FORMAL DRESSES:
This was an ask on IG for a roundup of cute dresses to wear to a wedding or summer event. Here are my favorites:
1999 maxi dress | astra maxi dress | polka dot midi dress | gloria swiss dot dress | giselle drop-waist mesh maxi dress | hedy strapless gathered linen and voile maxi dress | sandberg maxi dress black polka dot | dejonge ring sleeveless maxi dress black
HIGH WAISTED LEGGINGS:
I’ve been wearing leggings on our walk because I’m not trying to get bit by mosquitos during it, and realized a few that I had we’re either way too tight and cumbersome to get on, I wanted softer ones that still added a bit of shape and here are my favorites. I know I’ll be wearing them with big coats come fall and winter too!
organic stretch midi legging | organic stretch full length legging | on the go-to legging | ultra-form high-rise legging | OG high waisted legging
