Things I'm Loving...

Can’t believe it’s already June! This weekend we’re heading to a homestead festival…think gardening tips, animal care, and learning from people who really know what they’re doing. We’re excited and definitely ready to soak it all in!

Also… we went back to see the house we’ve been eyeing. If you missed the update, we shared more in this podcast episode HERE. It checks all the boxes: great location, a charming old home that needs love, and just enough land for a cow (or a few other animals)…but not so much that it’s overwhelming.

I absolutely love it, but we know it’ll be a project. Right now, we’re working with a builder who specializes in historic homes to get a sense of what the renovation might involve. More to come soon!

FASHION

I’m all about baggy denim shorts right now. They feel so cool and relaxed but also that I’m not overexposed while running around with the kids. It’s a little too hot here for jeans right now but I’m still the person that loves pants regardless, I was like that in LA too… it would be middle in summer and I’m in pants and a tank. But this feels like a good in between. The ones with studs I sized up from my regular size for an ultra baggy look with a belt and they are too cute!

BEAUTY

Because it’s starting to get a little humid here, which I don’t mind because I feel like it helps my skin! But I’ve been really into glassy skin and blush. I showed the Milk Makeup jelly ones in this video HERE. I don’t do full makeup everyday, but on those “no makeup” makeup days I focus on a good serum and blush (o and my eyebrows) but here’s the ones I’ve been loving:

KIDS

I feel like Poppy recently hit a growth spurt because suddenly her tops were getting too short for her, these are the ones I got her recently from Gap. They have such cute kid clothes and usually always all cotton. She lives in long sleeve jammies when we’re at home, and these two are her favorite prints. She gets excited when I freshly wash them… she always lets me know if her jammies are running low so I can do a load of laundry. This is also the tee she wore recently when we went to Disneyland:
